That’s apparently the case in an article I was reading on the Daily Mail. If you drink four or more cups of coffee a day, you can reduce your chance of having a baby by 25%!!

That’s a huge percentage especially if you’re someone who wants to have a baby. But there are other factors that can contribute to that as well. Here’s a quote from the article of other things that can reduce your chance too.

Those who drank four or more cups of coffee, tea or other caffeinated drinks a day were 26 per cent less likely to have had a baby, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology’s annual conference in Barcelona was told.

Having three or more alcoholic drinks a week had the same effect, while being slightly overweight cut the chances of getting pregnant.

Smoking still appeared to be the most damaging, with more than one cigarette a day cutting the odds by more than a third.

Got that? I sure did. So let’s recap.

  • don’t drink too much caffeine
  • don’t drink too much alcohol
  • don’t be obese or too overweight
  • and most importantly, don’t smoke

Let’s see…for me: I rarely ever drink coffee. I rarely drink alcohol unless I feel like drinking in my room or if I’m out at a party. I don’t smoke. But I am overweight.

So that’s really the only thing I should be working on. Well, I have been trying to bring my weight down for awhile now. It’s hard…really hard. Especially when you’re not motivated and don’t really have a buddy system in play. But, I’ll keep my head up and keep trying.

I’m not a quitter.
