Sometimes I hate the quality of photos on the iPod Touch 4G. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the photography apps… but seriously, they should have put a better camera to go with all the other amazing features included. Maybe APPLE did this purposely to sell more iPhones is what I’m guessing. But either way, I’m still in love with my iPod Touch 4G.
This past weekend, I finally had a chance to go up and visit my aunt and uncle. They are my favourite even though I don’t actually get to see them enough times as I’d like to. They got a new puppy recently. She’s a jack russell terrier pup from a litter my cousin’s dog had. She is such an energetic and cute puppy.
I was able to snag a photo with my iPod Touch 4G. The quality isn’t the best because the iPod Touch 4G does not come with a flash and the little puppy wouldn’t stop running around.
Even though the photo is slightly blurry, you can still see her cuteness!
I bought an iPod Touch 4G earlier this month. Of course one of the first things I do is check out the games (being a gamer girl and all).
One game I purchased was Plants vs Zombies by PopCap Games.
This game is ridiculous!! — that meant in an utterly awesome amazing way!! It’s so addicting and so much fun to play! Even my three year old nephew is obsessed with it! Every morning he comes to my room and whispers “ZOMBIESSSSSSS!”. He loves all the types of zombies you can get from the different levels.
Every time I beat a level, he was looking forward to the new zombie that was going to appear in the almanac info book. It was great seeing his reaction to the new zombies. Very priceless moments we had because he was so content with this game.
I highly recommended everyone trying it out. It’s really cheap and I think there’s a PC version as well. Either way, this game is really REALLY FUN!! Kudos to the designer who created it!
…and just an FYI to any app designer out there — cartoonish zombies are way more fun to play then those realistic horror ones. I for one have a hard time playing those realistic ones. I would never allow my nephew to play it either. But games like Plants vs Zombies that have that cartoon (not too frightening) design to it, is a home run. You can never go wrong with that because it will appeal to both old and young. Or someone like me who is able to play it together with a young child.
First off, this is NOT a paid post or advertisement. This is just simply something nifty I found and wanted to share with all my female visitors.
I’m not sure how I came across to find this or what I was searching that lead me to this product, but I’m glad it did. I’ve been looking for alternatives to menstrual pads besides tampons (which I’m not too fond of) for some time now.
Somehow I landed on the Diva Cup website.

What is the Diva Cup?
The Diva Cup is a non-absorbent menstrual cup. What does that mean? It’s a cup that when inserted, sits at the lower base of the vaginal canal and collects menstrual flow. When you insert it correctly, you will not feel it nor will it leak.
The cool thing about the Diva Cup, is the fact you can wear it up to 12 hours at a time. Then empty, wash, and wear it again for another 12 hours. You don’t have to worry about changing your pad or tampon every few hours. It can literally sit in there collecting your menstrual flow for an entire day at work, then you go home and easily change it.
Unlike pads or tampons, you can do a variety of activities while wearing the Diva Cup and having your period. Running, biking, swimming, yoga, dancing, are just a few things you can do while wearing the Diva Cup. EXTREME SPORTS TOO!!
Is the Diva Cup safe?
It most definitely is! Not only is it Latex-free, BPA-free, and plastic-free, but there are no dyes, colors or additives too!
Which one do I get?
The Diva Cup comes in two different models.
Model 1: For women under 30 years old who have never delivered vaginally or by c-sections.
Model 2: For women over 30 years old and/or for women who have delivered vaginally or by c-sections.
There are many places you can buy it on the web, but the cheapest I found is from iHerb.com. Lunapads.com also sells it along with other goodies.
The girls at Lunapads also did a nice Diva Cup 101 video which shows you how to use it.
There is a large number of testimonials and reviews about this product all over the web too. YouTube also have a lot of videos related to this product. Most, if not all the ones I’ve read give it 5+stars and rave about how awesome the product it.
I personally have yet to try it, but it is something I am going to give it a go. I’ll be getting Model 1 as I am under 30 years old and have yet to have a child. Once I get one and try it out, I will be definitely throwing up a review.
I love watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so it’s no surprise that I have also tuned in to watch Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
The first episode premiered last Sunday and had 3 million viewers. I was one of them!! Loved it too!! Even Kanye West made a special appearance on that episode which was really nice.
Tonight is a brand new episode and I can’t wait to watch it. Mind you, I’ll probably be watching it on the internet (TvDuck.com) because we don’t get the channel it’s on here where I live.
I was watching the new season of American Idol with my sister last night and the last performance just blew us away. We cried when we heard this girls story.
Her name is Lauren Alaina and she’s a 15 year old high school student from Rossville, GA. She first sang “Like We Never Loved At All” by Faith Hill but ended her audition singing “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith!!
It’s such an inspiring and heartfelt story. Already hoping she makes it to the top!!
