I was looking out the window of my parents bedroom when I happened to look to the nightstand on my mother’s side of the bed.

There sat a vase and artificial flowers I gave to my mother one Mother’s Day over 15 years ago.

I was in shock she has kept it throughout all these years! We even moved once during that time frame.

I’m assuming she liked it a lot even though at the time I had nothing but a few dollars which allowed me to purchase the flowers and vase at a dollar store.

I love my mama. I definitely should remind myself to say that to her more often because I don’t do it enough!
