Hi there and welcome to my blog!

My name is Tina (or sometimes Teena), though I currently go by T. Faye. I’m in my late 20s and reside in southern Ontario. My family stems from Azores, Portugal.

Even though I live in a bustling and lively city, I yearn for life out on the countryside. Why? I’d love to be able to go outside and just be at ease without any distractions or noises from buses, car horns, or people yelling. The being one with nature and the beautiful scenery of living out in the countryside is one I’ve always longed for. Sadly, there are too many things going on in my life at the moment, that makes moving out there impossible.

FAMILY:
I currently live with my parents, younger sister, and her two children. I also have an older sister who’s married & lives with her son and husband.

I am not married nor do I have any children of my own. My niece and nephew provide me with enough insight of raising children because we’ve all lived together since they were born. Even through all the tantrums, stinky diapers, coloring on the walls, and spaghetti on the heads, I still love them with all my heart.

I also had a dog (pomeranian/chihuahua mix) who passed away in July 2011 at the age of 13 from a mammary tumor. My life crashed when she died. She was literally my world. Not a single day goes by that I don’t think of her. I will not and never forget how much she affected my life. She was my best friend & baby girl. RIP.

THINGS I ENJOY:
I absolutely love going on vacations to the Caribbean and have been to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic numerous times. It’s my all-time favourite place to sit back and relax. While on vacation I have been on many excursions such as swimming in the beautiful ocean while literally feeding tropical fish that are swimming up to you. I’ve also visited coral reefs and even swam in the open water with sharks and stingrays. Mind you, that was probably one of the scariest things I’ve done next to bungee jumping.

When I’m not occupied and have time for myself, I enjoy reading fantasy novels & celebrity biographies. I also love watching movies and enjoy writing poetry when I’m inspired from real life events. I do have a passion for photography and I try to learn new techniques and improve my current skills as much as I can.

I love soccer tournaments especially the Euro and World Cups. With all the celebrations and parties, it’s really hard not to relax and have a good time especially if your team wins the game. If you have never experienced some of the parties that go on after game wins, try it one day but be responsible. It really is a lot of fun.

I am a self proclaimed gamer girl and have been pretty much my entire life. I love anything related to video games. I started playing way back with Super Nintendo & Sega Genesis, then moved onto PlayStation 1-3, Xbox360, and other computer games. Some of my current favourites are Call of Duty: Black Ops and World of Warcraft.

I have been an avid blogger since the 1990s and have owned numerous websites throughout the years. I enjoy blogging as it’s a way for me to let out what’s on my mind. I also enjoy connecting with people who live similar lives, share similar interests, or are just downright awesome people. I have met a few of those throughout the years whom I’ve kept contact with even till today.
